Capitala Finance Corp.
An investment firm, or "business development company," that lent money to American middle-market businesses too small for the public markets, offering loans and some equity stakes. It was spun out of Charlotte's Capitala Group in 2013, its name a play on the word "capital" with an extra "a." In 2021, after a change of management, it was renamed Logan Ridge Finance Corporation, taking its new name from Mount Logan.
