Cascadian Therapeutics Inc

A clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company that developed targeted small-molecule therapies for cancer, most notably tucatinib, an oral drug for HER2-positive breast cancer that later reached patients under the brand name Tukysa. It began life as Biomira, later renamed Oncothyreon, and in 2016 rebranded as Cascadian Therapeutics — a nod to the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest, where the company was based — to mark its shift away from cancer vaccines toward targeted drug development. In 2018 it was acquired by Seattle Genetics (now Seagen), which took over tucatinib's development.
