A healthcare navigation company whose digital platform helps employees, employers, and health plans understand their benefits, find providers, and compare the cost and quality of medical procedures. It was founded in 2008 by Dr. Giovanni Colella, Todd Park (co-founder of athenahealth and later U.S. Chief Technology Officer), and investor Bryan Roberts. The name is a play on "casting light" onto the famously opaque world of healthcare prices and insurance coverage.
