Centerstate Bank Corporation (formerly Centerstate Banks, Inc.)
A Florida-based community banking company, CenterState Bank grew out of three Central Florida banks — the First National Banks of Osceola, Pasco, and Polk Counties — that merged in 2000 under the leadership of CEO John Corbett. The name "CenterState" plays on its focus on the center of the state of Florida. It expanded through many small-bank acquisitions before combining with SouthState Bank in 2020, keeping the SouthState name.
