China Shenhua Energy Co Ltd

A one-stop energy company, China Shenhua Energy mines coal, burns it in its own power plants, and ships it on its own railways and ports, carrying everything from pit to customer without outside help. It is one of the world's largest coal producers, created in 2004 as the listed arm of the state-owned Shenhua Group. The name "Shenhua" joins two regions of its founding coalfield, Shenmu and Dongsheng, which straddle Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia.
