A mall-based retailer of casual clothing and accessories — jeans, tees, hoodies, and loungewear — aimed at teens and young adults under its own Aeropostale brand. The company takes its name from the French mail-carrying airline Aéropostale, which operated in the 1920s and 1930s, and its founders chose the name to evoke a sense of adventure and flight.
