A maker of mission-critical flow control products, CIRCOR designs and builds the pumps, valves, and related systems that manage fluids in demanding settings—from aircraft engines and submarines to oil, gas, and power plants. The company was spun off from Watts Industries in October 1999, inheriting legacy pump brands like Allweiler (founded 1860) and Warren Pump. Its name is a mash-up of "circulation" and "corporation," a nod to the very business of moving fluids it was built around.
