Clarcor Inc

A maker of filters used to clean fuel, oil, and air in cars, trucks, and industrial machines, Clarcor sold well-known brands like Baldwin Filters. It began in 1904 in Rockford, Illinois, as the J.L. Clark Manufacturing Co., a maker of metal packaging such as spice tins and battery shells. In 1987 the company renamed itself CLARCOR to reflect its widening focus beyond packaging, and it later became part of Parker Hannifin in 2017.
