Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc.
Could not find a ticker for this position, may be a filing error
A chain of roadside restaurants and gift shops serving Southern 'homestyle' comfort food like made-from-scratch biscuits and country-fried steak, each paired with a retail store selling gifts. Gasoline salesman Dan Evins opened the first one in Lebanon, Tennessee in 1969 to give interstate travelers a warm, old-fashioned stop. The name comes from the wooden barrels that once held soda crackers in country general stores, where folks gathered — and every location still greets guests with rocking chairs and the 'Tricky Triangle' peg game.
