A biopharmaceutical company based in Boulder, Colorado, that developed cancer drugs, most notably Rubraca (rucaparib), a PARP inhibitor pill for people with ovarian and prostate cancers. Founded in 2009 by Patrick Mahaffy and other former executives of Pharmion Corporation, it took its name from the Mahaffy Cache, ancient Clovis-era stone tools unearthed in Mahaffy's own front yard. After entering bankruptcy proceedings in 2022, its drug assets were sold to other pharmaceutical companies.
