Cm Life Sciences Inc
A special purpose acquisition company — a "blank check" firm that raises money to buy a private business and take it public — CM Life Sciences was a trio of similar vehicles set up by the investment firms Casdin and Corvex. Each of the three merged with a different health-sciences company, becoming SemaLogic, GeneDx, and EQRx. The "CM" in the name strings together the initials of its two backers: Casdin and Meister.
