Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc

A maker and distributor of Coca-Cola beverages, Coca-Cola Enterprises was the anchor bottler that turned syrup into bottled and canned drinks and shipped them to stores across big swaths of North America and Western Europe. It was spun off from The Coca-Cola Company in 1986, folding dozens of independent family-owned bottling franchises into one giant operation. Fun fact: the "Coca-Cola" name comes from the drink's two original ingredients, coca leaves and kola nuts, and its famous flowing script was drawn by a partner named Frank Robinson.
