Advent Software Inc

A maker of software that investment firms use to manage and track their portfolios, Advent's products — including Advent Portfolio Exchange, Geneva, and Axys — helped money managers record trades, value holdings, and report to clients. The company was founded in 1983 by Stephanie DiMarco, who started building the business out of her San Francisco home and named it "Advent" as a fresh start or journey into a new field; in 2015 it was folded into SS&C Technologies.
