A real estate investment trust that owns, operates, and manages commercial office and mixed-use properties in major U.S. cities such as New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Boston. It began in 2003 as the non-traded Wells Real Estate Investment Trust II, rebranded as Columbia Property Trust in 2013 when it listed on the stock exchange, and was taken private by investment firm PIMCO in 2021. Its New York holdings include the Terminal Warehouse, an iconic brick-and-beam building dating to 1891.
