Comdisco Holding Company, Inc.
A holding company formed from the bankruptcy of a computer leasing giant. The original company was founded in 1969 by Kenneth Pontikes, a former IBM salesman, with a small loan from his father, and grew into one of the world's largest providers of technology leasing and disaster-recovery services, popularizing the 'hotsite' backup data center. After filing for bankruptcy in 2001, it reorganized into this entity to wind down its remaining assets.
