Compute Health Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company, or "blank check" firm, created to buy a private healthcare business and take it public. Founded by Omar Ishrak, the former CEO of Medtronic, it got its name from its focus on companies at the meeting point of computation and healthcare, like medical imaging and telehealth. In 2023 it merged with Allurion, a weight-loss tech firm known for its swallowable gastric balloon, and the combined company began trading under the ticker ALUR.
