Con-Way, Inc.
An American freight and logistics company, Con-way grew out of Consolidated Freightways, a trucking firm founded by Leland James in Portland, Oregon, in 1929. In 1983, CF launched the Con-way brand as a non-union spinoff focused on regional short-haul deliveries, and the parent renamed itself Con-way Inc. in 2006. Truckers affectionately nicknamed the original company "Corn Flakes," and Con-way was itself acquired by XPO Logistics in 2015.
