Cooper Tire & Rubber Company
A maker of replacement tires for cars, trucks, and motorcycles, Cooper Tire & Rubber Company sells under its own name as well as the Mastercraft and Roadmaster brands. It traces back to 1914, when two brothers-in-law bought a small Akron, Ohio firm making tire patches and repair kits. The "Cooper" name came from Ira J. Cooper, whose company merged in 1930 and took his name in 1946. In 2021, Goodyear acquired the company.
