Time Warner Cable Inc
A major American cable television and broadband provider, Time Warner Cable delivered TV, internet, and phone service to millions of homes across the country. It was formed in 1992 by merging Warner Cable and American Television and Communications, the cable arms of Warner Communications and Time Inc. after those two media giants combined in 1990. The name was simply a literal description of its parentage, and its "Eye and Ear" logo nodded to the senses used to watch and listen. In 2016, Charter Communications acquired the company and folded its services into the Spectrum brand.
