Costco Wholesale Corp /new
A membership warehouse club that sells groceries, fresh foods, electronics, and household goods in bulk at low prices across hundreds of warehouses in more than a dozen countries, plus its own Kirkland Signature private-label brand. It traces its roots to Sol Price's Price Club, the world's first membership warehouse, opened in 1976 in San Diego; co-founder Jim Sinegal, a Price protégé, opened the first Costco in Seattle in 1983, and the two chains merged in 1993. Fun fact: the Kirkland Signature name came from Kirkland, Washington, where Costco's headquarters sat when the brand launched in 1995 — Sinegal had wanted "Seattle Signature" but couldn't clear the name.

Select a row to see that insider’s individual transactions. Sum of the holdings confirmed in the 12 months before this insider's last filing. A Form 4 reports a holding per line — held directly, or through a named trust, partnership or foundation, and in each share class separately — never a person’s total. Lines not restated in that time are left out and shown apart: an active filer restates what they still hold, so a line they did not restate is more often an entity since renamed, whose shares a successor line reports too. An amber marker means some were left out.
Net open-market activity over the last 5 years: -161.3K shares. Grants, option exercises and tax withholding are excluded — they are compensation mechanics, not decisions to buy or sell.
