Crown Castle Inc.
A builder and landlord of the cell towers that carry America's phone and data signals. It erects towers and leases space on them to carriers like AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, often hosting several providers on a single structure. The name comes from a 1997 merger of Crown Communications and Castle Tower Corporation, and a quirk of the shared model is that a single tower can serve customers of rival carriers at once.
