Ddr Corp (now Site Centers Corp)
A real estate investment trust that owns and manages open-air shopping centers across the United States, anchored by familiar retailers like Target, PetSmart, and Aldi. Founded in 1965 by Bert Wolstein as Developers Diversified Realty, the company outgrew its mouthful of a name, shortening it to DDR Corp in 2011 and rebranding to SITE Centers in 2018. In 2024 it spun off its convenience shopping portfolio into a new company, Curbine Properties.
