A crude oil shipping company that operates a fleet of Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs) — the biggest class of tankers afloat, each able to haul roughly two million barrels of oil across the world's oceans. Founded in 2005 as Double Hull Tankers, the company later restructured and shortened its name to DHT Holdings, keeping the initials of its original safety-minded moniker. Its vessels carry crude between the Middle East, the U.S. Gulf, West Africa, Brazil, Europe, and Asia.
