Alvotech
A "blank check" company — a Special Purpose Acquisition Company, or SPAC — formed by an affiliate of the investment firm Oaktree Capital Management to raise money and merge with a private business to take it public. It had no operations of its own; in June 2022 it combined with Alvotech, a biopharmaceutical company that develops biosimilar versions of expensive biologic medicines like adalimumab, sold as more affordable copies of brand-name drugs. Oaktree itself was co-founded by noted investor Howard Marks.
Warrant of Oaktree Acquisition Corp. II (SPAC), which completed its business combination with Alvotech in June 2022; warrants previously traded on NYSE as OACB WS, now Nasdaq ALVOW — Formerly Oaktree Acquisition Corp. II; merged with Alvotech in 2022
