Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd.
A maker of trucks, sedans, SUVs, and electric vehicles, Dongfeng Motor Group builds passenger and commercial vehicles under brands such as Voyah, Aeolus, and M-Hero, for drivers across China and many other markets. It began in 1969 as the Second Automobile Works, a plant carved into the mountains of Hubei to make trucks for the People's Liberation Army, and later adopted the name Dongfeng — Chinese for "east wind" — in the mid-1970s. Today it is headquartered in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province.
