From time to time, we may be involved in legal proceedings arising from the normal course of business activities. Opposition Proceedings Against Akebia In September 2018, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited filed an opposition to our issued Indian Patent No. 287720 covering the composition of matter of vadadustat in the Indian Patent Office. In response to a preliminary opinion, we requested to amend the claims, and the amended claims were published on May 9, 2025. On December 19, 2025, we attended an oral hearing conducted on the basis of the amended claims. We filed our written submission on July 2, 2026.
