Exco Resources Inc

An independent oil and natural gas company based in Dallas, Texas, EXCO drills for and produces onshore oil and gas from shale plays across East Texas, North Louisiana, Appalachia, and the Permian Basin. Incorporated in Texas in 1955, it traces its roots back to a company originally called Mineral Development, Inc., before taking on the EXCO name. That same long history carried it through oil booms and busts, reshaping and reorganizing as commodity prices swung over the decades.
