A Dallas-based midstream energy company that moves natural gas, crude, and refined products through a vast pipeline network across the United States. It began in 1996 when founders Kelcy Warren and Ray Davis launched a small gas-pipeline operation in East Texas, and grew through deals like the 2012 merger of Sunoco, the historic brand founded in 1886 as Sun Oil Company, whose custom-blending gasoline pump is preserved at the Smithsonian Institution.
