Equitrans Midstream Corp

A midstream energy company that gathers, pipes, and stores natural gas across the Appalachian Basin, running one of the largest gathering networks in the United States and helping move gas from the Marcellus and Utica shale fields to market. It was spun off from natural gas producer EQT in 2018, and its name blends "EQT" with "transmission." Insiders even nicknamed it the "E-Train," a play on its ticker symbol, during talks with its former parent.
