Ero Copper Corp.
A Vancouver-based mining company that digs copper, gold, and silver out of the ground in Brazil, selling copper concentrates from its Caraíba complex in Bahia plus gold from its Xavantina mine. It got its start in 2016, when founders bought the aging Mineração Caraíba mining complex and brought it back to life after a flood had stalled it. The name "Ero" nods to El Dorado, the legendary South American "city of gold" that lured explorers for centuries.
