Extended Stay America, Inc.
A hospitality company that runs hotels for guests who need a place to live for weeks or months at a time—tradespeople on remote jobs, business travelers, or folks between homes. Its suites come with full kitchens and separate living areas, a cross between a hotel room and a small apartment. Extended Stay America was founded in 1995 in Florida by two former Blockbuster Video executives, Wayne Huizenga and George Johnson Jr., who gave it a name that literally describes what it does.
