A 'blank-check' company that raises money from public investors to find and merge with a private business in technology or financial services. Founded in 2020 by Thomas Farley, a former president of the New York Stock Exchange, the 'Far' in its name echoes his surname. It agreed to combine with the crypto exchange Bullish in 2021, but the deal was called off in late 2022 and the company wound down.
