Fiesta Restaurant Group Inc
A restaurant company that runs two fast-casual chains: Pollo Tropical, known for its citrus-marinated flame-grilled chicken and Caribbean dishes, and Taco Cabana, a Tex-Mex spot famous for hand-made flour tortillas. Taco Cabana began in 1978 when Felix Stehling opened a patio-cafe in a converted Dairy Queen in San Antonio, while Pollo Tropical started in 1988 in Miami. In 2012 the pair were spun off from Burger King franchisee Carrols into their own public company.
