Finserv Acquisition Corp. II
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC — a 'blank check' shell that raises money from investors to buy or merge with an existing business. Named 'FinServ,' shorthand for financial services, it was led by CEO Lee Einbinder, a former Barclays vice chairman, and focused on fintech targets. Its predecessor FinServ Acquisition Corp. merged with rental-purchase company Katapult, while FinServ II itself liquidated in November 2023 without closing a deal.
