Fortune Rise Acquisition Corporation

A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), or "blank check" company, formed in Delaware in February 2021 to raise money through an initial public offering and later merge with a private business, taking it public. It was founded by Lei Huang, Yuan Mei Ma, and Xianglin Li. In a twist, its intended acquisition target, the water treatment company Water On Demand, actually bought the SPAC's own sponsor before the deal later fell through.
