A Danish biopharmaceutical company, founded in 2005, that developed a proprietary formulation of dimethyl fumarate known as FP187, a drug candidate studied to treat multiple sclerosis and psoriasis. It gained global attention when its patents overlapped with the drug behind Biogen's MS medicine Tecfidera, and settled in 2017 by granting Biogen a license to its rights. The company later liquidated, distributing proceeds to shareholders.
