Friendfinder Networks Inc
A maker of online dating and social networking sites, FriendFinder Networks built a family of communities including the general-interest FriendFinder.com and the far larger AdultFriendFinder. Founder Andrew Conru had earlier launched WebPersonals.com in 1994, widely credited as one of the world's first dating websites, then spun off AdultFriendFinder when he noticed members using FriendFinder.com for adult-minded connections. In 2007 the Penthouse Media Group bought the business and rebranded it under the FriendFinder Networks name it carries today.
