Allegiant Travel Company

An ultra-low-cost airline and travel company based in Las Vegas, Allegiant flies nonstop from smaller, underserved cities to popular vacation spots like Las Vegas and Orlando, bundling flights with hotels and rental cars. It launched in 1997 as WestJet Express, then renamed itself Allegiant a year later after a trademark clash with Canada's WestJet. The airline also lends its name to Allegiant Stadium, home of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders.
