Gci Liberty, Inc.
A holding company that owns GCI, Alaska's largest telecom provider, offering broadband, mobile, voice, and video to homes, businesses, and schools statewide. It began in 1979 when Ron Duncan and Bob Walp launched a long-distance firm from a small Anchorage apartment with just three employees, growing to serve more than two hundred Alaskan communities. A tangle of Liberty mergers and spinoffs later, it was renamed Liberty Capital Corporation in 2026.
