Go Acquisition Corp
A "blank check" company, Go Acquisition Corp. was a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) formed in 2020 to raise money through an IPO and merge with a private business — it aimed to find a travel-related company in North America or Europe to take public. Co-founded by investor Noam Gottesman (of GLG Partners fame) and travel executive Michael O'Hara, it never closed a deal and announced in June 2022 that it would shut down and return its investors' money. Its stock ticker, GOAC, echoed the "go" travel theme it chased.
