Good Works II Acquisition Corp
A special purpose acquisition company, or SPAC—a shell company formed to raise money and take a private business public through a merger. Incorporated in 2020 and listed on the stock market in 2021, it aimed to partner with a growing company but never closed a deal and was wound down in 2023. Its founders chose the name "Good Works" because they pledged to donate a chunk of their own shares to nonprofits, pairing investing with giving back.
