Keurig Green Mountain Inc
A maker of single-serve coffee brewing machines and the K-Cup pods that go with them, best known for letting people brew one fresh cup at a time. The company began in 1979 as Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, a small Vermont coffee roaster, and took its current shape after it bought the brewer-maker Keurig in 2006. The name "Keurig" comes from a Dutch word meaning "excellence" or "well-done," chosen by its founders to reflect the perfect cup they hoped to brew.
