Greenhill & Co., Inc.

An independent investment banking advisory firm that advises corporations, institutions, and governments on mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. It was founded in 1996 by Robert F. Greenhill, a former president of Morgan Stanley, and named after him; in 2023 it was acquired by Japan's Mizuho Financial Group and now operates as that bank's independent advisory arm. Its founder began his career as a U.S. Navy aviator who flew anti-submarine patrols.
