Guess?, Inc.
A maker of denim, jeans, and apparel for men, women, and children, known around the world for its stonewashed jeans and triangle "Guess?" triangle logo. It was founded in Los Angeles in 1981 by four brothers from Marseille, France, who made their name with the slim-fitting, stonewashed "Marilyn" jean, sold to a department store that sold out quickly. The brand name came from a McDonald's billboard the brothers passed daily that asked, "Guess what's in our new Big Mac?"
