Distributes maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) products—plumbing, electrical, safety, and hospitality supplies—to apartment buildings, hotels, hospitals, and commercial facilities across North America. It began in 1974 in San Diego as Maintenance Warehouse, a catalog business serving property managers, and The Home Depot bought it in 1997, renaming it HD Supply in 2004. After being sold to private investors in 2007 and taken public in 2013, Home Depot bought it back in 2020—a full circle back to its original parent.
