One of the world's largest consumer healthcare companies, Haleon makes the everyday medicines and wellness brands found in many homes, including Sensodyne toothpaste, Advil and Panadol pain relievers, Centrum vitamins, and Voltaren gel. It was born in 2022 when British drug giant GSK spun off its consumer health business into a standalone firm, bringing together brands long owned by GSK, Pfizer, and Novartis. The name blends an Old English word meaning "in good health" with "leon," a nod to strength and the lion.
