Harley-Davidson, Inc.
A maker of heavyweight motorcycles, founded in 1903 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and named for its four founders: William Harley and Arthur, Walter, and William Davidson. Beyond gas-powered touring and cruiser bikes, it sells parts and apparel, an all-electric motorcycle line called LiveWire, and rider financing and insurance through Harley-Davidson Financial Services. Its iconic black-and-orange "bar and shield" logo traces back to 1908, though nobody knows for sure who actually designed it.
