Haymaker Acquisition Corp III
A special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) — a "blank check" shell that raised money from investors to later merge with a private firm and take it public. Formed in 2020 by a New York team that had already launched two earlier "Haymaker" SPACs, it aimed at the consumer, media, and hospitality sectors. In 2022 it merged with biote Corp., a health-and-wellness company that trains doctors in hormone-optimization therapy, and the combined firm took the biote name. Its "haymaker" name nods to the boxing term for a powerful swinging punch.
Class A Common Stock — Merged with Biote on May 27, 2022; combined company now trades as BTMD
