Hertz Global Holdings Inc
A car rental company that operates the Hertz, Dollar, and Thrifty brands at airports and city locations worldwide. It began in 1918, when 22-year-old Walter Jacobs opened Rent-a-Car Inc. in Chicago with a small fleet of a dozen Ford Model Ts; five years later businessman John Hertz bought it and renamed the business the Hertz Drive-Ur-Self System, giving the brand the name it still carries today.
