Iconix Brand Group, Inc.

A brand management company that owns and licenses a far-flung portfolio of well-known consumer names — Candie's, Joe Boxer, Mossimo, Ed Hardy and the Peanuts characters among them — rather than making the products itself. It began life as Candie's, Inc., a footwear maker, and renamed itself Iconix in 2005 to signal its shift from selling shoes to managing "icons." The company was taken private in 2021.
